Big Easy Foods multiple winners at the 2022 GDUSA Packaging Design Awards
Big Easy Foods was recognized in the Food category as multiple winners in the 59th Anniversary 2022 GDUSA Package Design Awards Competition.
For four years in a row, Big Easy Foods has been the Winner of the GDUSA American Package Design Awards™.
Big Easy Foods has again won the Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) 2022 packaging design awards in the Food and Beverage category for its work with Mission-Driven Meat and Seafood Misfits/Imperfect Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp Packaging and Bocage Crawfish Louisiana Crawfish Packaging.
This year, out of 21 categories in the Packaging Design competition, we are recognized in the Food category as multiple winners in the 59th Anniversary Package Design Awards Competition.

With over 10 years of experience making delicious Louisiana foods, Big Easy Foods has built a nation-wide reputation for its renowned Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp, Cajun Entrees, Boudin, Smoked Sausage, Bacon Poppers, and the famous Partially Deboned Stuffed Chicken.
That’s where the Big Easy Foods Marketing department came into play. Our team has received the challenge of rethinking branding from the past, creating new contemporary packaging as a strategic tool to compete with other food brands while keeping its Louisiana roots.
Louisiana crawfish are a Louisiana icon, though abundant in the state. Many companies have looked at Asia to supply them with Crawfish to cut prices. Big Easy Foods partnered with a local Louisiana company to package their frozen Louisiana Crawfish to continue its tradition of using local products whenever possible. Intentional use of the American flag in the background of our packaging creates an emotional experience of buying an American product from Louisiana.
