Delicious shrimp cooked fast and easy in an Air Fryer

  • Ingredients

1 pound frozen Wild Caught Gulf shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on or off)

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Lemon wedges (for serving)

    Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

    Instructions

    Preheat the Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the frozen shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

    Air Fry the Shrimp

Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

    Cooking Time

Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. The shrimp should be opaque and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

    Serve

Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

    Tips

Do Not Thaw: There's no need to thaw the shrimp before cooking; they can go straight from the freezer to the air fryer.

Adjust Seasoning: Feel free to adjust the seasonings according to your taste. You can add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or Italian seasoning for a different flavor.

Pairing Ideas: Serve the shrimp over rice, in tacos, or with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.

Enjoy your crispy and flavorful air-fried shrimp!
