Shrimp, Scallop, and Asparagus Dish Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound Wild Caught Gulf shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 pound scallops
1 bunch asparagus (trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces)
4 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Directions
Prepare the Asparagus:
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil over medium heat.
Add the asparagus and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Seafood:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and the scallops are opaque.
Combine:
Add the cooked asparagus back into the skillet.
Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice. Cook for another minute to combine flavors.
Serve:
Plate the dish and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot, paired with rice or a light salad if desired.
